Jet

Species:	Gargoyle
Physical Description:	At 5'5", Jet is a short gargoyle. She is naturally wingless. Her skin is a glossy ebony, her hair a bright metallic blue, very straight. Her eyes are ice-blue, and she has a very large, shiny, metallic blue dragon-like fin on the end of her tail. When this fin is fully extended, it can have sharp barbs.
Personality:	When she first arrived in Canada, she was shy and cautious, but as she's gained confidence and learned more about the Western world, her true personality emerged. She is spunky, confident, lustful of her mate Alexis, and opinionated. She is also spiritual and wise, and cautious. She always thinks before she acts, when it's important to do so. Though she can be grouchy and sulky with her mate Alexis, it's probably only to encourage him to try to please her or play with her or fight with her...any interaction with him pleases her greatly. They are ridiculously in love.
Clothing:	Sporty and brightly colored.
Weapons:	Her tail is a natural weapon. She's also proficient in the martial arts, and is excellent with the bow staff, though she can use the Chinese sword called a Dao sword as well. It is curved and thick at the end.
Abilities:	She can dance well, her traditional Chinese dances being exotic and unusual in their precise movements to behold. She's an excellent martial artist. She is also superb at making jewelry, particularly with softer stones such as jade. She's very flexible and strong for her size.
Brief Bio:	Jet was born Ying-yu in the northern mountainous regions of China. Her clan, isolated from humans developed their dutiful sense of protectiveness and serve the natural world and animals around them. They patrol for poachers who often seek some of China's highly prized animals, such as the now rare Chinese Tigers and Pandas. Their religion is a little bit animist, Buddhist, and even has elements of Japanese Shinto. Plagued by severe siezures and strange dreams, her clan's elders asked her to leave, mostly out of concern for her. Their belief was that her dreams were telling her to travel elsewhere in the world. She left and followed her dreams, and they led her all the way to Canada, where she met her handsome Swiss-German mate Alexis. Though she still suffers siezures, usually caused by the chaotic energy created by the use of magic near her, she is otherwise healthy and even has had an egg with her mate.
